NBN Co. Investigates Local Resident After He Successfully Streams Movie Without Buffering
Emerald Beach —Authorities have been called to a local residence this morning after unconfirmed reports that a man managed to stream an entire two-hour movie in High Definition without a single drop-out.
NBN Co. technicians were immediately dispatched to the scene, baffled by the complete lack of a spinning loading wheel.
>"We are treating this as a highly suspicious anomaly," an NBN spokesperson confirmed while resetting a router for the fourth time that day. "This network was specifically designed to build resilience and character in the Australian public through intermittent lag. If people are just effortlessly watching Netflix on a Tuesday night, we need to find out where the system failed."
The resident, who wished to remain anonymous to avoid being asked to fix his neighbors' Wi-Fi, said he didn't even have to unplug the modem and plug it back in.
At press time, NBN Co. assured the public that they had identified the issue and the man’s street would be scheduled for immediate, unexplained maintenance to restore normal, frustrating service.
